Dog-Friendly Hikes – A Totally Unqualified Catalogue of Things I Walked (Part 4)

A quick disclaimer before anyone starts treating this as an authoritative canine field guide.
Until I met the canine king himself, Boris (faithful companion to my hiking buddy Basil), I paid approximately zero attention to whether a trail was dog-friendly or not.
Unless a strategically placed dog bowl physically launched itself at my face, the thought simply never crossed my mind.
Then Boris arrived on the scene, and I discovered that for many people, knowing whether a trail welcomes dogs is not a minor detail but rather the entire point of the exercise.
So, in the interest of managing expectations: there are almost certainly dog-friendly trails I've walked that don't appear on this list.
What follows is therefore not a comprehensive directory of every dog-friendly hike in existence -it is simply a collection of trails I have personally walked - where I can confidently report that dogs are either allowed on lead, off lead, or at the very least not filing formal complaints about being there.
