High Five Day 3 – AKA "The Chill, But Still Superior" Route

Ah yes, Day 3 of the High Five Trail—another day full of options.
Some members had joined the weekend despite not hiking (injury? vibes? not anyone’s business, really), but that’s kind of the club’s whole thing. It’s not just about the trail—it’s about the FOMO-fueled togetherness. Something I personally lack, but absolutely respect... and, fine, envy a little too.
So a few of us opted for the ever-underrated, totally valid “casual wander around the area” route. And honestly? No regrets. The area was the gift that kept on giving....in every direction.
Rock formations that demanded silence, reverence, and a tiny moment of delusion where I thought, “Surely no one has seen this before.” They have. I'm just dramatic.

We had a ridiculously fun morning. We laughed, we chatted… and, most importantly, we got photos so good they’ve already made three group chats and one dating profile.

Leaving earlier meant heading home faster—which, after two full days of photos and blog-worthy material (now three, clearly), was the only option.
So thank you, my fellow trail creatures, for a weekend of laughter, light chaos, little to no sleep... but, on the flip side, catching up on some Netflix shows.
Oh, and obviously for yet again easing me into the communal living way of life... kinda... slowly... maybe... we’ll see.
